SUBLIME
The store is designed to create a moment of pause within the fast paced environment of an airport. As travellers enter, the sculptural element immediately draws them in, shaping movement and setting the tone for the space. A compact tea cart is thoughtfully integrated, allowing guests to engage with the brand through tastings and conversations around its range of premium teas.
The material palette is deliberately restrained yet rich. Matte gold finishes paired with deep green tones form the primary language, chosen to evoke refinement and depth without feeling excessive. These elements come together to create an atmosphere that feels luxurious, calm, and inviting, allowing the product and experience to remain central.
Developed in collaboration with Astons, Sublime is a project that balances form, function, and storytelling. It is a space designed to linger in the memory, offering travellers a quiet, considered experience amidst constant movement
Sublime is a tea store designed for Bangalore International Airport, conceived as an immersive spatial experience rather than a conventional retail outlet. The design takes its cue from the ritual of tea itself, translating it into a sculptural language that defines the store. At the heart of the space stands a tree like installation, imagined as a symbolic and visual anchor. Considerable time was spent refining its form and structure, ensuring that while the process was complex, the final experience feels intuitive and effortless for the visitor.
